Online Mirror was founded with a simple objective: to create a lightweight, ad-free, and high-quality web-based mirror utility. Too often, looking for a quick reflection requires launching bloated native applications, navigating spammy websites, or downloading suspicious browser extensions. We wanted to build a clean web application that is instantly available on any laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
Privacy by Default
Most modern web applications process user input on remote servers, raising tracking and data collection concerns. Our mirror camera is built on a privacy-first design. Using standard HTML5, WebRTC, and Canvas browser APIs, your camera stream is rendered 100% client-side. This means that not a single frame, pixel, or screenshot ever leaves your browser or touches an external server. You can use the mirror with absolute peace of mind.
Features Built for Daily Use
A reflection is only the beginning. To make the tool genuinely useful for everyday preparation, we integrated controls that physical mirrors cannot offer:
- Ring Light Simulator: A bright simulated frame to project fill-light in dimly lit environments.
- True Mirror Toggle: Flip horizontally to see how you look to others, or stay in normal mode to replicate a glass reflection.
- Filters and Exposure: Boost brightness, saturation, and contrast or add filters to inspect camera clarity.
- Timer Snapshots: Set a countdown timer to take a snapshot, downloading directly as a PNG to your device.
